FIVE YEARS! EASTERN MARGINS marks a half-decade, joining forces with GGI 끼, CHA CHAAN TENG and ESEA MUSIC on Saturday 4th February 2023.

We’ll be celebrating the whole spectrum of East & South-East creativity in London, including debuting the Eternal Night Market, a concept space celebrating the whole spectrum and different disciplines of East & South-East Asian creativity in London.

PLEASE NOTE GGI 끼 is a club nite for the queer, trans and non-binary ESEA community. They are a massive pillar of the ESEA music community in London and we are honoured to host them at this night. We will prioritise queer, trans and non-binary ESEA folks at this event (the QTBPOC ticket option is for BPOC queer and trans people). Please do not assume anyone’s sexuality or gender, and please be mindful of the space that you take up if you are not a member of this community.

When the daytraders’ tarpaulin sheets are pulled away at sunset, the Eternal Night Market opens - a dive into the Margins. Expect Workshops, merch stands, talks exploring the Margins of East & South-East Asian culture - everything from bootlegging to rituals. Showcasing the Eastern Margins community beyond the musicians and performers.
